Bought it again

"I tried this product because one of my Standard Poodles has a skin condition and I wanted a good shampoo. I have 4 large dogs, two Standard Poodles and 2 Sheepadoodles. I was going through liquid shampoo like water. I saw these bars and thought they looked like a good idea to conserve shampoo. Turns out that I was right. It's very easy to manage because you can rub it on and there's no waste. I just bought another 2-pack for them."

Really is easier to use WashBar instead of liquid dog shampoo!

"Comes in a two pack, the bar is easy to use, very earthy/floral scent, but the bar does dissolve a bit fast. I've only given Roxanne one bath with this, it is significantly easier to use than liquid dog shampoo. Roxanne is a chow-sheperd mix, has thick fur, and overall a large dog. She loves water, hates baths. Previously using liquid dog shampoo, it had to be diluted just to spread around on her fur, and it didn't seem to get down in the layers of fur. With the bar, it dissolves easily, and works into the fur, through the many layers. The way it dissolves makes for a quick rinse, and leaves the coat fluffy. I think it's the cleanest she has ever been."

It rinses so clean!

"I love this bar soap. First, it is easier to use than a bottle shampoo. If you are holding a sprayer in one hand, it is much easier to shampoo the dog with the bar in the other hand. The bottles are awkward. Second, it rinses completely clean. No residue. I have spent so much time trying to get all of the soap out of my Golden Retriever's coat. Third, the smell is nice. He doesn't have that wet dog smell for very long after his bath. He is a therapy dog so he gets bathed once a week so it is nice that it has no nasty chemicals. I love my dog so that is important to me."

This soap is amazing!!

"I rarely write reviews but this soap is incredible! We have two English Cream Golden Retriever pups and they have drier skin so I have tried so many natural moisturizing shampoos for them, and none of them lather well, and one bottle maybe gives us 3 washings. Well first off, the soap smells like a spa. Nothing overpowering, just a natural scent from the essential oils. I found just holding it in my hand and rubbing it all over the dogs worked great. It lathered sooo well and really got into their undercoat so I didn't even need to repeat the wash like I normally would do with the liquid stuff. The soap also rinsed off really well. Their coat is softer and shinier than it's ever been, and the bar barely looks like it was even used. Super impressed with this product!"

Wow - what a great idea!

"So giving the dogs a bath can be a little overwhelming, I always wish I had another hand or two. I have to say, this is SO MUCH EASIER than bottle shampoo - I got the dogs wet and then just rubbed the bar of soap all over (as I would do myself in the shower!) and then rubbed it into a lather. It lathered easily, it rinsed really well and their coats are their normal glossy with a really pleasant fragrance. I like the idea of no bottle (it takes up very little room, a lot easier to know when you're getting low) and the ease of use gave me that 'extra hand' that I never had before. I'm sold!"

Love this bar!!

"This bar has an amazing lather and is so easy to use. This bar works so much better than liquid soap. I can rub the bar all over my pup and target cleani8ng so much more easily. I'm also not wasting a bunch of soap trying to get a good lather and then trying to spread the soap around. The soap also rinses much easier and leaves their fur squeky clean. The scent of the bar is pleasant while using it, but it doesn't linger. You just don't smell a smelly dog anymore!"

"One of my girls has allergies. If she stays outside on the grass too long her skin breaks out and makes her itch. In the winter time her skin gets dry and itchy just like our skin does. I've used it twice and it really did calm her skin down and give her relief. She had been scratching and restless at night, but after her first bath using this soap she settled down and slept for almost six hours! later she has a restful night's sleep! I will continue to purchase this soap, it's a winner in Roxie's book, mine too!"

Great product

"Decided to try something different for my large dog who has sensitive skin and tends to really dry out in our high altitude low humidity climate. Bar soap conceptwas new to me. I love how this works. It cleans beautifully and leaves a nice mild, clean scent. LAsts longer than liquid and most important his coat is softer and his skin is in better condition. Win win."

Easier and more suds for the pup than liquid!

"I was using liquid before and I had to constantly add more soap throughout my puppy's bathbecause it never got soapy enough. It was during those times of adding more soap she would take that 'break' to try and climb out of the tub. The bar of soap really lathers up so I feel like she is getting so much cleaner! And I never have those breaks of having to add more soap because the bar is just constantly in my hand. A really great first experience and she smells great and is so fresh and clean :)"

So easy to use

"I love these bars as they are much easier to use than trying to pour liquid shampoo on a wet dog and get it distributed. I can rub the bar all over their bodies and it makes it very easy to get them clean. It is nondrying so I can use it as often as needed."

More convenient than liquid

"This is a fantastic product!The whole idea of dog shampoo in a bar form is genius and has solved all of our dog bath problems. It is so convenient to just rub the bar directly on the dog. There's no hassle with liquid shampoo running out of your hand.... having to use both hands to squeeze the bottle.... not being able to get shampoo on the underside of the dog. The bar produces a ton of lather, so a little goes a long way. It rinses fast and easily. It smells a little like a citronella candle, but it's not bad. I won't be going back to liquid shampoo."

"Fits nice in your hand to massage into the fur, even the hard to reach spots under the belly and arm pits. Lathers up so nice and rinses out easily. Leaves the fur so soft and fluffy. Big bonus: NO PLASTIC BOTTLES!!"
